请教有关人士关于EPT考试的问题！！

我是申请华文教师，教育部要求我要参加PRE-SELECTION TEST IN chinese language administered by NIE考试？
我上教育部查了一下，里面有一段我看的不理解，请各位帮忙下。

• If I want to be a Chinese teacher, must I sit for both the English and Chinese EPT?
      With the exception of Bachelor of Art (Education) programme, you need only sit for the Chinese EPT if you do not meet the exemption criteria.这里说我只要考中文，接着那段是什么意思，尤其是黑体的部分
      All Bachelor of Arts (Education) candidates selected to teach Chinese Language are expected to sit and clear both English and Chinese EPT if they do not meet the respective exemption criteria, in order to be admitted into NIE for the degree programme.请知道的人帮个忙！！谢谢
