Conversation 1         實境對話 1
Guest              :          Good evening. This is Mr. Laurence in room 6018.
客人                ：        晚上好。我是6018房的羅倫斯先生
Receptionist   :          Good evening, Mr. Laurence. What can I do for you?
接待員            ：        晚上好羅倫斯先生，需要什麼服務嗎？
Guest              :          I need to attend an important conference in ××early tomorrow morning. So I would like to request an early morning call.
客人                ：        我明早必須參加××的一場重要會議。所以我想請你們明早叫我起床。
Receptionist   :          Yes, Mr. Laurence, at what time would you like us to call you tomorrow morning?
接待員             ：       好的，羅倫斯先生，您希望我們明早幾點叫您起床呢？
Guest              :          Well, I'm not really sure. But the conference starts at 10 o'clock at ×× University, and I need to get there by 9:30. You wouldn't know how long it takes to driive to ×× from the hotel, would you?
客人                ：        嗯，我也不太確定耶。不過會議是十點在××大學開始，而我必須在九點半前到達，你應該不知道從飯店開車到××要多久吧，你知道嗎？
Receptionist   :          I would give it three to three and a half hours.
接待員             ：        我想應該要三道三個半小時吧。
Guest              :          That means that I'll have to be on the road by six at the latest.
客人                ：         也就是說我最晚六點就要出發羅。
Receptionist   :          That's right.
接待員             ：        是的。
Guest               :          Well, in that case, I would like you to call me at 5:20.
客人                 :           那，這樣的話，我想請你五點二十分叫我。
Receptionist   :           O.K, so we will wake you up at 5:20 tomorrow morning. Good night, Mr. Laurence. Have a good sleep.
