关于（c），为什么不是公平的测试呢？找不到可以信服的解答。

女儿叫我赶快编辑一下早上的发言，实在是太不好意思了。再次印证了不读题目，只看图表是科学科目之大忌！所以女儿的粗心，为娘的也有责任。呵呵，大家鄙视我吧！

答案可能会有两个：

Nicholas' comment is correct. The experiment is unfair as the twin brothers'  physical conditions were different when the experiment was taking place.  In addition, Marcus did not request them to breathe and blow once only , nor request them to exhale completely., which may lead to a inaccurate conclusion.

Answer key上的答案是：Yes.It is because Nicholas was reading therefore his body does not need as much oxygen as Sebastian who was skipping.
但我女儿认为就算他们在测肺活量前做的activity不一样，也不会影响他们的肺活量，只会影响他们呼吸的频率，那experiment不就是公平的吗？

运动负荷会导致肺活量增加，这是由于：

1. 在运动中或运动刚结束时，身体会通过增加肺活量来提高供氧量以满足自身需求。
2. 运动中或运动刚结束时，肺部附近肌肉变得更加柔韧和易拉伸，吸气时肺叶就会有更多膨胀空间，肺活量测试时也就能吸入和呼出更多的气体。

呼吸频率不会影响肺活量的测试结果，因为测试时只能吸气和呼气一次。
