Dear Parents,Phase 3 registration will be conducted on Thursday, 28 August 2014. The hours of registration at schools are from 8.00 am to 11.00 am and from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
The list of available primary school for parents to register their child in Phase 3 will be available on 27 August 2014, 12 noon.
Non-Singapore Citizen (SC)/ non-Permanent Resident (PR) children born between 2 January 2008 and 1 January 2009 (both dates inclusive) may apply during Phase 3 for admission to Primary One in 2015. Parents are required to bring the originals of the following documents for registration at the school.
- The Child’s Birth Certificate
- The Child’s Passport
- The Child’s Immigration Exemption Order / Dependant’s Pass (if any)
- Parents’ Singapore NRIC/Entry or Re-entry Permit/Employment Pass/Work Permit/Travel Document
- The Child’s Immunisation Certificates
- Letter of Authorization (where applicable)
Parents may refer to http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/primary-one-registration/required-documents/ for more information.
Each child should be registered at only one school at any one time. If a child is registered at more than one school, he may lose his place in the school of choice.
Parents of non-Singapore Citizen (SC)/ non-Permanent Resident (PR) children should note that vacancies are limited as only vacancies remaining after allocation to SC/PR would be allocated to non-SC/non-PR children. After parents have submitted their applications at schools during Phase 3, MOE will centrally process all the applications and the posting outcome will be released to parents by 14 November 2014. School posting will take into consideration factors such as availability of school vacancies and ensuring a good spread of students. MOE posting is final and no appeals will be entertained. Schools will also not entertain any walk-in applications for placement or transfer.
Note: Should any Singapore Citizen/Singapore Permanent Resident child be unsuccessful during Phase 2C Supplementary, the parents can seek MOE’s assistance to facilitate admission for the child to a primary school with remaining vacancies. This will be done before Phase 3 registration begins.
