[小学] 英语填空题 请教

Rihanna felt ___________ because she was not invited to her best friend's birthday party.
A..put off   B.put out   C.put away   D.put down

不知是题出错了, 还是俺不会答。赶脚4个答案都不能放在空格处, 原因是动词词组不能当形容词用, 也没有那相应的意思。对卷子给出的答案也不以为然。

请童鞋们赐教。

看起来最接近的是 put out (5b).

多谢。卷子答案是 put off.

Put off 在这里是当 repelled 意思解吗? 整个词组是被动语态, 做形容词用?

Put Off 有 repell 的意思。  Put Out 有 offend, irritate 的意思, put down 有 humiliate 的意思。 这三个好像都可以用。 这个题应该出的再明确一点,通过上下文暗示出老师要的是哪个意思。

但是,假如题目明确暗示上述某个意思,娃或者咱们大人就能答得出吗?对我来说,不翻字典是木有戏滴,肯定答不出。

叫娃把这些意思背出来就成了吗?基本不成。太多了,肯定背乱了。唯一能指望的是他们平时多看书,阅读中在上下文的意思里,这些词组的意思就不辩自明了。他见的多了就能分辨了。

坡的重要考试中,像PSLE,基本不会出现这种极易混淆的词,也不会出现本题这样意思不够明朗的句子。这点,家长们可以稍感安慰。
