人在国内，可以申请新加坡公民吗？

申请citizen是要成为PR后的2-6年，每个case是不同的。但是,ICA强调，作为PR不论你在新加坡住了多久，都不能因为住的时间就自动成为公民。也就是说，即使，你成为PR20年，如果不符合他们的所谓的条件，也不会批准。据我们问ICA officer的结果，一般来说，香港人，有欧美大学以上学历的，或者从欧美国家聘请来的（包括中国国籍的人士），以上任一PR两年后可以申请公民。其他的，要4年以上。当然，象国家级的运动员等，不具有广泛的代表性的，就不在讨论的范围了。
我们的亲身经验，去移民局，officer先看我先生的IC,他是属于2年的，然后，再看CPF statement,税单，以及那张免NS的纸，然后他就问，2年中有没有离开过新加坡。我们说有，他就拿我先生的passport,一页一页的算时间，我们都是短期出境，就告诉他都是旅行，算下来大概是2个月吧，最后，officer说，好，我算你2年了，因为你是短期的旅行，而且一共才2个月，如果是3个月以上，我就没有办法帮你了。

想请问一下peterpan，那最后你们是否在两年时就成功拿到了公民权？可否介绍一下你们的情况，以供参考。谢谢。另外，我太太是香港人，我可以以她作主申请人，我作为家属申请吗？多谢。
