English – Chinese Interpreter
(Singapore)

Responsibilities:

• To provide consecutive     and/or simultaneous interpretation from English to Chinese and vice versa.
  

Requirements:

• Bilingual in both English and Chinese Languages and with     professional qualifications / certifications in Interpretation work (i.e.     professional certificate of Accredited Professional (Consecutive)     Interpreter awarded by SUSS or Diploma in Translation or Interpretation     awarded by the Singapore Chinese Chamber Institute of Business (SCCIOB) or     equivalent);
  

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in     interpretation work. Interpreters are to furnish documentary evidence,     e.g. testimonials from clients, records of past interpretation work done     etc. to address this aspect of the prerequisite.  
  

·        The experience of Interpreter(s) who haveinterpreted in a court of law, in tribunal proceedings before inquirycommittees;

·        Those familiar with commonly used TCMterminologies and/or accounting terminologies will be looked upon favourably.
