Roles & Responsibilities

What you will do:

Partner with business owners and product managers to help shape product strategy, improve product specs and propose innovative technical solutions in order to build user-friendly, scalable software applications that impact the future of the world
Own the entire SDLC including requirements gathering, architectural design, development, testing, deployment, enhancements, and maintenance
Manage projects end to end in a fast-paced Agile environment to deliver quality product on time
Provide hands-on technical leadership for technical challenges including troubleshooting, performance turning, coding/ code review/ code improvements & database optimizations
Clearly articulates and documents technical documentation such as design blueprint, specification documents, and Software development documentation
Manage and develop a team of world-class engineers, and promote a high performance working culture
Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies, positive attitude, and team player with strong communication skills
Tech Stack Preferred:

Database: MySQL, TiDB, Elasticsearch schema design
Cache: Hazelcast, Redis
Real-time data pipeline: Apache Kafka
Backend: PHP 7+ or similar programming languages i.e. GoLang, Node.js, in LAMP stack or Laravel frameworks
Frontend: Vue.js / Angular / React frameworks, using HTML/CSS/JavaScript/ jQuery
Orchestrator: Kubernetes
Containerization: Docker, Containerd
Cloud infrastructure: AWS stack services (instances, services, etc)
Architecture: RESTful APIs/ Micro Services (Frontend and Backend)
Mobile app: Android & IOS
Others: Deep knowledge of Jira workflow, Agile, DevOps, static analysis, and CI/CD implementation
Requirements:

Degree　in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology
Project Management certification (PMP), if any
6-8 years hands-on experience　in application (Mobile & Web) development and implementation, infrastructure and data architecture design, preferably in scalable　SaaS product development in a cloud environment, of which 3-5 years of technical leadership experience is preferred
At least 2 years of managing an engineering/developer team with at least　2 complete cycles of SDLC　or multiple release cycles under your belt
Finance/Accounting domain knowledge including high transaction rate processing is a big plus
Knowledge in data security, controls, privacy and compliance practices will be added advantages
Strong project management skills in a demanding fast-changing environment with tight deadlines and scarce resources
Highly motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and proven ability to prioritize complex agendas
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influence skills and personal maturity
Excellent logic, outside-the-box problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
