无论是什么词性，都可以从“反面的”这一意思推倒而出，这里用了in reverse，表示的是与…相反之意。整句话如下翻译：只要你也体验一次完全颠倒过来了的感恩节，就很难再去喜欢感恩节盛宴了。 9. Winner of 3 Tony Awards... 这副场景在网路的一个笑话中也有体现，说的是妈妈带女儿去游泳的场景，有兴趣的可以自己去查找一下，这里不赘述，Joey阴差阳错成了性病代言人，终归不是什么光彩的事儿，走在街头看到那张海报很不爽，于是看看四周每人，就上前去撕，结果发现下面的海报标题也不好，第一次是膀胱控制问题（Bladder Control Problem），第二次是停止虐待妻子（Stop Wife Beating），第三次则是痔疮（Hemorrhoids），最后终于露出个让他满意的，原来是三项“托尼奖”（ Winner of 3 Tony Awards），这下他高兴了，要知道“托尼奖”可是美国戏剧的最高奖啊！ －－－－－－－－－－ 讨论 1： Thanksgiving的起源是受宗教迫害的的清教徒逃到马萨诸塞，感激当地的印地安人教会他们生存的技巧，同时感谢上帝所设。并非单纯的感激上帝给予的丰收。 如果我没有记错，以前学的《走遍美国》里有说。 2：显而易见，chandler抵制的是清教徒的所有节日，并非带有宗教色彩的所有节日。 3：介绍thankgiving 不提到football game 似乎和ridiculous，看几个小时的football game和火鸡，游行一样是感恩节必不可少的 －－－－－－－－－－－ 1.Phoebe: Yes, and her boyfriend. But we're celebrating Thanksgiving in December 'cause he is lunar. lunar 应该指的阴历，所以Phoebe grandma 要到12月才过Thanksgiving. 2. Ross: (picking up a book) Hey, hey, Yertle the Turtle. A classic. "Yertle the Turtle" 是个经典寓言童话，讲海龟王Yertle让海龟们堆起来成它的王座，结果最后倒下来的故事。乌龟大王亚特尔為了掌握更大的權柄，統治更寬闊的領土，於是牠命令屬下的烏龜疊羅漢，將牠給抬高，牠以為只要牠極目所及之處，盡是牠的領土，所以，牠不斷的想要超越他人，也因此，羅漢越疊越高。最後，牠更妄想超越月亮，想不到因底層的一隻烏龜打了一個噴嚏，整個烏龜王國就全盤瓦解了，而跌得最重的正是烏龜大王亞特爾。 3. (he crouches down near her stomach) Ok, where am I talking to, here? I mean, uh, well, there is one way that seems to offer a certain acoustical advantage, but... Ross不知道向哪里开口，居然想到生孩子的地方去了，不过也只有他才能用这么委婉的方式说出来。

Rachel: By all means.尽一切办法friends中mean经常出现，大家可要分清楚不同词性的意思哦。 花柳在美国不叫花柳吧，CHAN怎么会由此联想到鲜花怒放呢，Chandler: Tonight, on a very special Blossom.我想CHAN的意思就是“（今晚这么多人留下来了），真是热闹啊！”所以，用鲜花怒放意指今晚会很热闹的意思。 8.shoop,shoop 就是“咻，咻”拟声词，跟sha la la,bla bla,一样的 Rachel感恩节要和家里人去滑雪，她很喜欢滑雪，所以总是说"go 'shoop,shoop,shoop'"就是模拟滑雪时的声音。（每次都作出滑雪的动作） 9. the bigger half （of the bread）心里许个愿，然后如果得到了大半的，愿望就能实现。joey的愿望就是那一大半面包。 对的，在感恩节的时候，两个人掰面包，掰之前想个愿望，如果谁掰到了大的一半，他的愿望就能实现，Joey掰到了大的一半，Phoebe问他许的是什么愿，结果傻Joey许的愿就是 掰到大的一半。：） 10.Bobo the Sperm Guy：man who is used for sexual purposes only.(can also be used to identify an anonymous sperm donor) Bobo the Sperm Guy流传成为sperm donor的代名词,应该是有些典故的 很可能这个短语就原创于friends，因为bobo 用得经典，所以后来人们就这么戏称了，不知道这个猜测对不对，呵呵。儿语bobo＝sleep bobo的意思有： To give a blowjob to someone；Caveman for "friend"； really silly person；fearless african warrior；sexual animal<o:p></o:p>

【110】The One With The Monkey 1.blonde planet。planet，形容体形及运动速度？“金发莽妇，从天而降（不知道从哪儿冒了出来）” 2.did anyone eat my dip?这里是rach顾左右而言他，想让大家不要注意她的模样，所以问派对是否热闹，有没人拿走她那份蘸酱。 3.attack whistle thingy是防狼口哨 4.phoning it in, 本意是以电话或电话留言的方式传递信息， 后来引申为“报告” 在后来引申为“应付差使，没有真正投入”的意思。 5.One of these times is just gonna be your last chance with me. “这将可能是你最后一次有机会见我了” 或者是 “你和我见面的机会也就这几次了” 6. That guy's going home with a note! chandler把Phoebe上面教训david的话，说成是一个便条（note）。一般guys晚上回家也许会带个女孩, 可david恐怕只能带个便条回家了。 美国小学生犯了错误，老师就会写一个note让学生带回去给家长看，当然不会写什么好事，所以叫send home with a note。<o:p></o:p>
