帮忙看看这封caveat notice 是什么意思？

过first appointment快一个月了，收到一封caveat notice,
完全不了解这封notice的意思。到底是干啥的？为什么目的？

这个notice 里说

A caveat has been lodged against your property referred to in paragraph 2

2.  A caveat is lodged by someone (known as a caveator) who claims an interest in your property,
usually as a buyer or as the bank from which you obtained a loan or as the buyer's bank.

Details of the caveat are:

Property: 买的房子的地址
CAVEAT number: xxxxxx  logdged on xxxxx (a date time)
Caveator: Housing & Development Board
Claiming as : Mortgagee
Lodged by : Housing and Development board

3. You do not need to take any action if you agree with the caveator's claim.
Otherwise, please consult your lawyer.

真烦人

因为向HDB申请了房贷，这封信只是告诉你说明房子是你已买下的，别人无权再进行买卖了，如果我没理解错误的话。

楼主不用担心，没什么问题，真烦人说的对，我买房子时也收到这样的信， 问过我的律师，就是很正常的程序。

    买二手房子HDB都有给指定律师的吧

这个表明你的房子已经在 URA登记过了

其他人不能继续做交易了 如果是公寓的话 会在这里查到你自己的房子的信息的

“caveat notice”的直接中文翻译就是“房屋转让禁令通知书”，就是该房屋已经出售，在律师办理各项手续完成之前，不能再转卖给另外第三方。主要是保护买方的利益，因为买方已支付了全部房价款，但房子尚未转到买方名下。通常是买方的律师或买方贷款银行的律师会发出此通知。
