After reading thru' this forum, it is a shame that many parents are suffering under the 陪读 policy.
As I understand the purpose of the policy is for the mothers/grandmothers to accompany and look after their children/grandchildren studying in Singapore. Anything else constitute an abuse of the policy.

If anyone is interested, I can initiate a petition for Singapore Gov to abolish such a policy.
