妈妈 的长期签证快过期了， 请问是Renew还是重新申请？

想请教姐妹们一个问题， 上次给妈妈申请长期签证， 因为护照的有效期只剩下3年左右， 所以批准后长期签证的有效期也只给了2年半多。我明年3月底生，那如果妈妈过来照顾我，有效期也要快到了。 那我是应该去renew， 还是延期，还是要重新申请呢？我现在是公民， 但没有做工，会不会有问题？

在有效期前一个月妈妈先来，再去续签就可以了。没做工也可以续签。我当初就是没做工给妈妈续签的。

你的问题很不清晰啊，无从回答。你先要弄清你妈妈护照，签证都是什么时候到期。

如果你妈妈还在中国，护照到期之前半年内在国内先更新护照，你在网上给她更新旧签证的信息，也就是更新新护照号码，然后你妈妈要在就签证过期前，到新加坡后去更新长期签证（官方时间1-2周，我16日给我妈申请，24日下午收到批准电邮）。

如果你妈妈在新加坡，也是先换护照，再更新签证。

如果你妈妈准备在签证过期后进入新加坡，第一要旅游签证进来，再重新申请长期签证（官方时间2-4周），既费时间又费钱，还不知道批不批，我觉得你续签的话，批准可能性更大，现在的政策谁都说不准。

我所了解的，护照到期之前半年都可以更新，长期签证是到期之前6周更新，这个是我打电话问的，我妈**是12月23日到期，所以我11月16日申请的。

现在妈妈还在中国，她准备在护照到期之前半年内在国内先更新护照，然后再在签证到期前过来。

这样， 我需要在网上给她更新旧签证的信息，也就是更新新护照号码。

那妈妈到新加坡后去更新长期签证， 是直接去ICA么？除了带新，旧护照， 绿卡， 还需要填表格和准备什么资料么？

    有一点我也不确定，就是你在网上给她更新旧签证信息的问题，我刚查找了一下，对于长期准证持有人，没有提到Renewal of Re-Entry Permit ，之前我以为和PR一样，所以你可能还要打电话询问一下ICA。

现在都是在ICA网上直接RENEW，你需要有SINGPASS，所需要信息很简单，链接如下

你可以先进去看看都要填什么。

等你申请好，要先交30元手续费，收到批准信后，也会有链接给你直接去交VISA费和保险费30+60。然后就会告诉你需要填写哪些表格，我妈妈需要体检，好像也不是每个人需要，之前听说有夫妻俩一个需要，一个不需要。
我现在看到的页面是这样，我扣除体检时间，已经订了取件的时间，妈妈本人也是需要到场的。
Your application for a Visit Pass (Long Term) has been approved for a period of 5 Year(s) , subject to the results of your medical examination .
2.      You are required to complete formalities for the issuance of the Visit Pass (Long Term) personally at this office To facilitate the collection of your Pass, you are advised to come to ICA on ----(date,time) with the following:
-A completed Medical Examination Report;
-A copy of approval notice;
-A duly signed printout of the form which you have submitted through the e-VP;
-A duly signed printout of Terms & Conditions of Issue for Long Term Pass Card
3.      The completion of formalities is strictly by appointment only. If you wish to change your appointment date/time, please log on to ICA e-Appointment (Completion of Long Term Visit Pass Formalities). On the date of the appointment, proceed to the Self-Service Ticketing Kiosk 3 located at Visitor Services Centre 4th Storey, ICA Building to obtain a queue ticket. The applicant is advised to be punctual for the appointment.

以上四个表格，后面都有链接，打印出来就好了。目前看上去是没有什么资料要准备。如果你妈妈顺利用新护照进来新加坡，估计不用带旧护照去ICA。
