      最近交房租、交押金、银行开户、买东西、吃饭，手头比较紧张，可前两个月的工资支票，公司还没给发下来，很郁闷，写了一封邮件催问HR,以下是正文，各位英语学习的朋友，大家一起交流一下，看看哪些地方需要改进(用词不当之处，语气更婉转之处)，一起学习英语，共同进步。

Hi XXXX,
      How is my check going? When can I get my check? I have lots of fees to pay recently, and I have borrowed some money from others because of my bad financial situation.

      So, could you please urge the finance department to speed up my check procedure? It has past almost 10 days since I got my EP.

      It is really not an easy time for anybody who is hard up for money in a high-living country.

I am having some financial commitment on my housing, utility and personal spending. Understand that my salary payment is still in the progress, however, it has been some time since I got EP.

Please help check with finance department for your payment.

HR给我回复中用到 cheque,查了一下：

两者都是支票的意思。不过check多用于美国用法，而cheque多用语英国或澳洲国家。

Learning English is not difficult but it will take you lot of time. Thinking in English is better than understand English in Chinese.
