Renewal of Photocard Driving Licence Foreigners holding a Singapore driving licence will have to renew their licence at the Traffic Police Department one month before the licence expiry date as indicated on the licence. No reminder letters will be sent out.

The following documents and payment are required when renewing your licence - Passport
- Valid work permit/employment pass/ student pass/dependant pass, and/or other documents showing your extended stay in Singapore.
- A matt/semi-matt finish passport-size colour photograph with white background
- A processing fee of $50 (Cash, Cashcard and Nets Only)

Category 3 : Motorist aged 65 years old and above (for classes 4A, 4 & 5 licence holders) The following examination and test must be fulfilled : - Annual medical examination* to be done by a Singapore registered medical practitioner in Singapore.
- Once certified fit to drive the particular class of vehicle, you will need to undergo a proficiency driving test. You have to bring along the medical form to register for the proficiency test at Woodlands Test Centre, 2 Woodlands Industrial Park E4.
- The driving licence will be validated upon passing of the proficiency driving test.
- We will not accept medical examination certification produced after 3 months from the date of endorsement by the Medical Officer.
* The Medical Examination form will be sent to the motorist 8 to 10 weeks from his respective age which required for medical examination. Elderly motorist may call the Traffic Police Department at Tel No : or approach the counter of Traffic Police at Driving Centres to request for the medical examination form. |
