关于父母LTVP renew疑问, 来自ICA的权威答复

因为父母的LTVP即将到期，对于renew的问题始终有些小疑问，于是写email ICA询问。这里首先要赞扬一下新加坡ICA的工作效率，收到我的询问电邮当天就回复了。真的很感谢他们。

以下是ICA回复，在这里与大家分享，希望能帮到和我有同样困惑的朋友：

1          Please be advised that for renewal of long term visit pass issued by ICA, the pass holder may submit at earliest 2-3 months before its current expiry date, for our processing and evaluation；

2          It can be submitted electronically via our electronic-Service,  e-VP, Electronic Visit Pass (Long Term) system https://ltpass.ica.gov.sg/eltsvp/main.do . Under the Main Menu, please click "Renew Application". Prior to the submission, applicant needs to ensure that he/she satisfies the following conditions:

- Travel Document has a validity of 6 months or more

- Visit Pass (long term) has a validity of 10 days or more

- Local sponsor must have a SingPass

3          For the application of Long Term Visit Pass, a processing fee of S$30.00 per application will be collected at the time of submission. The fee collected is non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application or if applicant/local sponsor withdraws the application after submission. If approval is granted, a fee of S$60.00 will be applicable for the issue of Long Term Visit Pass. If visa is required, an additional fee of S$30 will be charged separately；

4          Every application for visit pass is considered on its own merits and subject to approval. If the application is subsequently approved In-Principal, the pass holder must be physically present at Visitor Services Centre (4th Storey), ICA Building within the validity date of the In-Principle letter, for the completion of long term；

5       If the application is approved, the validity of the long term visit pass is effective from the date of issue.

归纳起来有几个重点：

1. renew 申请最早在过期日前2-3个月提交；
2. 申请人护照有效期必须至少6个月或以上；现有LTVP有效期必须至少10天或以上；local sponsor必须有SingPass;
3. 若申请获批，申请人必须在批准信上注明的规定日期之内亲自到移民厅四楼办理相关手续；
4. 新的LTVP有效期从发证之日算起。

新加坡公民父母的ltsvp，还是已经有了只是renew的，简直就是长期签证中的最高优先级。

经网友提醒，再补充两点：

1. 若批准，必须重新体检，体检报告一般三日之内可拿；
2. 从批准之日起一个月之内，本人和local sponsor必须亲自去IRC 四楼办理相关手续。

仔细阅读一下warning的内容，大致应该是指如果此邮件（本来是发给我的）但错误发给了“别人”，或者“别人”无意中看到或得到这封电邮，这个“别人”不能随意散播拷贝此邮件。所以，我是收件人（ADDRESSEE），我将其中confidential的部分隐去，将我认为可以分享的部分与大家分享，应该没有违规。
