Employment Pass ( EP ) is designated for foreign professionals employed by companies operating in Singapore.

A foreign entrepreneur who has incorporated a Singapore private limited company is also eligible for an EP so as to operate

There are three categories of Employment Pass: P1, P2 and Q1 Pass.

The P Pass is for foreigners seeking managerial, executive or specialist jobs.

Validity: Ministry of Manpower grants each EP with a validity of 1 or 2 years, and it is renewable as long as the pass holder
remains employed in the company.

The S Pass is designed for mid-level skilled foreign workers employed by companies operating in Singapore.

qualifications, skills, job type and work experience.

Training Employment Pass is required for foreigners to undergo practical training attachments for professional, managerial,
executive or specialist jobs in Singapore.
