Insurance
(a) If the property is a strata-title property managed by a management company by
law, the management company must insure the whole building the property is in
against fire. If this applies, you do not have to buy or maintain separate fire
insurance for the property. However, if the property is not a strata-title property
managed by a management company, you must insure the property against fire
with Overseas Assurance Corporation Limited ('OAC'), or another insurance
company we agree to. The amount to be insured will be based on what we need,
and may change from time to time.
(b) You must pay the yearly insurance premium, and we will take this amount from the
account you hold with us to pay OAC. Also, OAC will provide free contents
insurance cover of up to a total limit of S$10,000.00, as long as:
(i) you keep to any conditions OAC sets;
(ii) the facility is ongoing and you have made all repayments that were due; and
(iii) the property is insured with OAC at the time any claim is made under the policy.

(c) If you take out an insurance policy with an insurance company other than OAC,
you must pay us an administration fee of S$200 each year. You authorise us to
take this fee from your account each year. (You cannot withdraw this authorisation
until you have paid back the facility in full.)
