$213 million school to open in YishunDubai-based GEMS Education, will be setting up a school in Singapore, their first in Southeast Asia.
The world's largest private primary and secondary education operator will pump in $213 million into GEMS World Academy which will open in September next year.
The five-hectare campus in Yishun will house state-of-the-art education infrastructure.
They include a 750-seat auditorium, a planetarium and a sports arena with an eight-lane 50 metres pool.
The school will provide students with an international education programme through the International Baccalaureate Organisation.
Gems IB Diploma students have been accepted into more than 350 universities worldwide. |
