原来新加坡也采用我国的任命制，而不是聘任制啊，这样的委任的校长适合这个学校吗，一点竞争都没有，铁饭 ...

也有例外，自主中学的校长一般上都由校董事会任免。

SINGAPORE: Education Minister Heng Swee Keat has said his ministry is planning to send some of its most experienced and well-regarded principals to head schools in the heartlands as part of efforts to make every school a good school.

He said his ministry will be announcing the latest round of posting of principals soon.

He also said school leaders must play a critical role in implementing the upcoming changes to the education system.

He was speaking to graduates of this year's Leaders in Education Programme at the National Institute of Education.

The changes include two new distinctive programmes, Applied Learning and Learning for Life, which are aimed at nurturing well-rounded students and which will be implemented by 2017, as well as the broadening of the PSLE scoring system.

The selection criteria for Direct School Admissions will also be adjusted, and subject offerings in secondary schools will be more flexible.

Mr Heng said that implementing these changes will be challenging, but he has confidence in the new cohort of school leaders.

He said: “I know that if there is one community which can succeed with passion and purpose, it is the education community.

"You will need to understand the reasons for these changes at the national level, and as each school is an integral part of the larger education system, I hope that you will share and collaborate with others so as to bring the entire education system forward."

曾宝明（Chan Poh Meng）也当过华中副校长，之前还在华中当过16年GP老师。

曾宝明的能力毋庸置疑，不过， ...

觉得现任校长挺好的。其实我不大喜欢课外活动太活跃,孩子们太累了。

教育部真折腾，10多年之前我在华中的时候杜辉生校长做了二十多年华中校长，真是倾毕生心血，一心想要把华中打造成顶尖国际学校。后来据说是董事会要迫他辞职，当时传是教育部干涉的，不满华中自主学校的做法。反正杜每多久就辞职了，教育部新派了个校长，上台讲话都打隔顿，挺多资深老师都要辞职。记得后来华桥中学排名掉了好几个。都是政治，对学校看来是弊大于利。

发不了链接，有一篇讲杜辉生校长的报道，以前的华中生归属感超强的，现在就不清楚了，只知道我的几个学生都不要选华中，改去RI了。可惜啊

哈，还有人记得这段历史啊。记得当年报纸电视上整天在报道这个大事件。。。

当年杜辉生校长被迫离开华中时，一位学生（后来的名人）写了这样一首诗：

我看到幢幢人影，不安份地摇晃起伏；
我感到条条脉搏，不寻常地抖擞跳动。
年轻的心，如此炽热，如此焦虑，
如此饥渴；饥渴地追求最新消息。

“我们爱他！”
“我们要他！”
“留任！”
“别走！”

只是文字，却如雷轰耳！
只是文字，却千钧万霆！
这里加了颜色，那里挂了大写。
一行接一行，此起又彼落。

“要＜某＞答覆！”
“跟＜某＞对抗！”
“倒＜某＞！”
“反＜某＞！”

唱逆调的，即刻被轰逐；
专挑衅的，即刻被纠正。
这个重复地阐明事实，那个自动地维持秩序。
太多的问题，太少的答案。

＜满江红＞，＜正气歌＞；
典范怎么尽属千古？
窒息的气候，贫乏的文明，
周遭还有多少人物，
值得仿效，容许仰慕。
