GOD is going to meet your need exactly as you asked HIM
James 4:2-3
2 You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask GOD. 3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Are all your needs met today? If not, why not?
According to the WORD of GOD, it's either because you're not praying about them at all or because when you do pray, you're praying wrong.
What does it mean to pray wrong? In many cases it simply means to pray without expecting results. Many believers do that, you know. They use prayer as a kind of spiritual wishbone. They just play around with it. "This probably won't do much good," they think, "but who knows? It won't hurt to give it a try."
If that's been your attitude, then change it! Start getting serious about prayer. Stop praying just because it's proper. Stop praying just because you always pray at this point in the Gospel Assambly Service. And start praying to get results.
Start praying in the NAME of JESUS according to the WORD of GOD and expecting to receive what you ask for every single time. Isn't that a little presumptuous? No, but it is bold, and you have a scriptural right to be bold.
According to the WORD of GOD, you have a standing invitation from your heavenly FATHER to "come boldly unto the throne of grace, that [you] may obtain" (Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.). That word obtain is a word of certainty. The dictionary says it means "to get possession of."
So pray, expecting to get possession of what you need, not just once in a while, but every time! When prayers do go unanswered, don't just wander away saying, "I guess you never know what God's going to do." Tackle the problem with both hands! Go to GOD in prayer and in the WORD and find out where you missed it and get the problem corrected.
When you go to GOD in accurate, WORD of GOD based, SPIRIT inspired prayer, you do know what HE's going to do. HE's going to answer you. HE's going to meet your need exactly as you asked HIM. Start expecting HIM to do it today.
Scripture Study:
1 John 5:4 for everyone born of GOD overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that JESUS is the SON of GOD.
6 This is the one who came by water and blood—JESUS CHRIST. HE did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the SPIRIT who testifies, because the SPIRIT is the truth. 7 For there are three that testify: 8 the SPIRIT, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement. 9 We accept human testimony, but GOD’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of GOD, which HE has given about his SON. 10 Whoever believes in the SON of GOD accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe GOD has made HIM out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony GOD has given about his SON. 11 And this is the testimony: GOD has given us eternal life, and this life is in his SON. 12 Whoever has the SON has life; whoever does not have the SON of GOD does not have life.
Concluding Affirmations
13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the SON of GOD so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching GOD: that if we ask anything according to HIS will, HE hears us. 15 And if we know that HE hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of HIM.
We give thanks to GOD, the FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, for this day and for you, faithful brothers and sisters.

Rev. 22:3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of GOD and of the LAMB shall be in it, and HIS servants shall serve HIM.
Dear Brothers n Sisters,
We can hardly imagine life without curse. No more pain or broken relationships. No more frustration or regret or exhaustion. And most of all, no death. "The last enemy that will be destroyed is death" - 1 Cor. 15:26.

Rev. 1:17 And when I saw HIM, I fell at HIS feet as dead. But HE laid HIS right hand on me, saying to me, "Do not be afraid; . . . . "
Dear Brothers n Sisters,
The majestic, glorious appearance of the unveiled CHRIST so overwhelmed John that he fainted. We must never forget that our SAVIOR and friend is also our LORD, MASTER, KING, and SOVEREIGN.

Pharisees of today
2 Chronicles 16:
7 About that time the prophet Hanani came to King Asa and told him, “Because you have put your trust in the king of Syria instead of in the LORD your GOD, the army of the king of Syria has escaped from you. 8 Don’t you remember what happened to the Ethiopians and Libyans and their vast army, with all of their chariots and cavalrymen? But you relied then on the LORD, and HE delivered them all into your hand. 9 For the eyes of the LORD search back and forth across the whole earth, looking for people whose hearts are perfect toward HIM, so that HE can show HIS great power in helping them. What a fool you have been! From now on you shall have wars.”
10 Asa was so angry with the prophet for saying this that he threw him into jail. And Asa oppressed all the people at that time.
11 The rest of the biography of Asa is written in The Annals of the Kings of Israel and Judah. 12 In the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa became seriously diseased in his feet, but he didn’t go to the LORD with the problem but to the doctors. 13-14 So he died in the forty-first year of his reign and was buried in his own vault that he had hewn out for himself in Jerusalem.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The Pharisees had a heart condition that grieved JESUS. Their hearts were hard and insensitive. If you'll look in Mark 3, you'll see what I'm talking about.
GOD was right there in their midst and they, of all people, should have realized it. They knew the Scriptures backward and forward, and JESUS fit every messianic prophecy written there. But the insensitivity of their hearts literally blinded them to who HE was.
The hearts of the Pharisees were also hardened to the needs of the people around them.
That very same thing is still happening today.
Just think again about what those Pharisees were doing. They were:
1. Criticizing the true and faithful ministers of GOD.
2. Protecting their religious traditions instead of loving and obeying the WORD of GOD.
3. Worrying about their own welfare and giving lip service to the LORD rather than caring for those needy (physical and spiritual) brothers and sisters around them.
Have you ever known any Christians who fit that description? Sure you have! In fact, every one of us has done those things at some time in our lives.
Every one of us, to one degree or another, has fallen prey to the same mistake the Pharisees did. We've gotten so caught up in doing and saying all the "right" things that we've let the tender warmth of GOD's love inside us grow cold.
I know that's true because if it weren't, we'd be seeing tremendous moves of GOD among us. We'd be seeing revival on every corner.
That's what GOD longs to do. GOD longs to pour out HIS SPIRIT in supernatural power and abundance through HIS true followers. But we've developed a heart condition that's holding HIM back.
Today if you are desiring an outpouring of the HOLY SPIRIT in your life and the manifestation of HIS power in your congregation, check the condition of your heart. If you find any hardness there, repent and ask GOD to change you. Ask HIM to give you the kind of heart that will allow HIM to show HIMSELF strong on your behalf.
Scripture Study:
Mark 3:1-6
1 While in Capernaum JESUS went over to the synagogue again, and noticed a man there with a deformed hand.
2 Since it was the Sabbath, JESUS’ enemies watched HIM closely. Would HE heal the man’s hand? If HE did, they planned to arrest HIM!
3 JESUS asked the man to come and stand in front of the congregation. 4 Then turning to HIS enemies HE asked, “Is it all right to do kind deeds on Sabbath days? Or is this a day for doing harm? Is it a day to save lives or to destroy them?” But they wouldnt answer HIM. 5 Looking around at them angrily, for HE was deeply disturbed by their indifference to human need, HE said to the man, “Reach out your hand.” He did, and instantly his hand was healed!
6 At once the Pharisees went away and met with the Herodias to discuss plans for killing JESUS.
We give thanks to GOD, the FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, for this day and for you, faithful brothers and sisters.

Rev. 2:2 "I know your works, your labor, your patience . . . . . . "
Dear Brothers n Sisters,
We may sometimes feel as though we toil in anonymity and that our labors go unnoticed and unappreciated. Remember, JESUS notices everything. HE sees both our work and our attitude as we work. And HE remembers.

Rev. 2:3 "and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for MY name's sake and have not become weary."
Dear Brothers n Sisters,
The work JESUS gives every one of us to do can feel taxing and almost ending. To complete our assignment takes both perseverance and patience. Only when we labor in HIS strength can we avoid complete weariness.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-11The coming of the Lord will be instantaneous, and we should be ready!
Dear Brothers n Sisters
Many people who claim to believe in God have never made a commitment to Him. They say that at the end of their lives they will accept Jesus as Savior, preferring instead to live as they please rather than bowing to His claims. In their deceived minds, they have outwitted God and had it both ways. This is extremely foolish and very dangerous. Such people rarely get more spiritually sensitive in their old age. In fact, they often become more resistant to the Lord. Also, we never know when we will die. An accident might take us before we can repent. Or the Lord could come at any minute, and it would be too late. The coming of the Lord will be like "a thief in the night" (v. 2 For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night.).
Let us pray:-
Praise God that in Christ we can be ready for the coming of the Lord:
Give to the Lord, O families of the peoples,
Give to the Lord glory and strength.
Give to the Lord the glory due His name;
Bring an offering, and come before Him;
Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! (1 Chronicles 16:28-29).

Rev. 2:16 "Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of MY mouth. . . . . "

Rev. 3:8 "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it, for you have a little strenght, have kept MY WORD, and have not denied MY name."
Dear Brothers n Sister,
We do not have to be mighty conquerors or giant-killers to take advantage of the open doors of opportunity that GOD sets before us; a "little strength" is plenty when we obey HIS WORD and honor HIS SON.

Rev. 3:15-16 "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold or hot, I will vomit you out of MY mouth."

Dear Brothers n Sisters,

JESUS tells the smug and self-satisfied members of the Laodicean church that they are essentially useless to HIM. They had chosen comfort over spiritual combat, and their complacency nauseated JESUS.

My dearly loved brothers and sisters in CHRIST, don't compare yourself to the people in your church, but compare yourself to the WORD of GOD, and see if you are just like the Laodicean church!
