智慧

敬畏耶和华是智慧的开端，认识至圣者便是聪明。你借着智慧，日子必增多，年岁也必加添。你若有智慧，是与自己有益；你若亵慢，就必独自担当（箴言9:10-12）

但以理告诉我们：“ 神的名是应当称颂的，从亘古直到永远，因为智慧能力都属乎祂”（但以理2:20）

平安弟兄姊妹们！以上经文对比了智慧和愚蠢，选择智慧或愚蠢不仅会相应进入智慧或愚蠢之所，还会因这个抉择导致不同的生命结果。

Wisdom

Pro 9:10-12 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the HOLY ONE is understanding. For through wisdom your days will be many, and years will be added to your life. If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are mocker, you alone will suffer.

Daniel told us “Blessed be the name of GOD forever and ever. For wisdom and might are HIS.” Dan 2:20

The above verses contrast the wise and the fool, not only at the point of decision to enter the houses of wisdom or folly, but in the kind of lives that result from those decisions.

禁果

偷来的水是甜的，暗吃的饼是好的，人却不知有阴魂在他那里…（箴言9:17-18）

平安弟兄姊妹们！暗地里做被禁止的事情必带有一种刺激，通常伴随这种刺激的是“活在悬崖边缘上”，而最终的结局就是你掉下悬崖。

Forbidden fruit

Pro. 9:17-18 "Stolen water is sweet, And bread eaten in secret is pleasant." But he does not know that the dead are there. . . . .

There is a certain thrill in doing forbidden things that no one sees you do. An adrenaline rush often accompanies this kind of "living on the edge" - but it ends when you fall off the cliff.

靠着信心服从上帝

不义之财，毫无益处；惟有公义，能救人脱离死亡（箴言10:2）

平安弟兄姊妹们！圣经从未试图隐瞒这个事实，就是恶人能通过他们的罪恶行径来聚敛不义之财。可是圣经也强调，这些不义之财，最终根本不能给他们带来益处。

惟有那些靠着有行动的信心来爱上帝并服从祂教导的基督徒，才能生活在平安和喜乐中，并且会得到永恒的救恩。

Obey GOD by faith

Pro. 10:2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing. But righteousness delivers from death.

The Bible never tries to hide the fact that the wicked can indeed amass "treasures" through their wicked deeds. But it also insists that those ill-gotten treasures will benefit them not at all in the end.

Those who love GOD and obey HIS teachings by faith will live in peace and joy and will receive eternal salvation.

爱遮掩一切过犯

恨能挑启争端，爱能遮掩一切过错（箴言10:12）

平安弟兄姊妹们！我们都在人际关系中犯了错误，被人得罪后，我们的自然反应就是生气恼怒。可是，如果我们想让我们的人际关系健康运转，那么我们就必须学会仁爱，而不是被人伤害后心怀怨恨。

Love covers all sins                                                                    

Pro. 10:12 Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sins.

We all make mistakes in our relationships, and the natural reaction to an offense is anger. But if we want our relationships to work, we must learn to apply love, not bitterness to the wounds we suffer.

奉主名，行仁慈和善事

仁慈的人，有益于己；残忍的人，扰害己身（箴言11:17）

平安弟兄姊妹们！

主耶稣呼召我们行公义和善事，是因为活出神性的生命不仅能够反映出主耶稣的圣洁品性，还使我们从中得益处、蒙祝福。靠着上帝的话语生活，才对生命有益处。

Be Merciful and do good on the name of the LORD

Pro. 11:17 The merciful man does good for his own soul, but he who is cruel troubles his own flesh.

The LORD calls us to do what is good and right, not only because godly living reflects HIS own holy character, but also because it benefits and blesses us. Living by GOD's WORD is the healthy way to live.
