询问有关tuition grants 的问题，请了解情况的朋友解答一下哈，谢谢

孩子读poly的时候签了tuition grants,从poly 毕业之后，没有工作，选择继续在本地私立大学读本科，请问需要在网站上claim什么吗？如果需要的话在什么网站地址呢？谢谢大家。

这个还是挺麻烦的事情。 在入学poly时 MOE 会提供 TG briefing来告知各位同学
在毕业之后如果需要在本地高等院校（NUS NTU SMU SUTD SIT）without TG-AU

,本地私立院校或海外高等院校继续深造，且那学生还没有获得本地公民权（外国人或者PR）

需要向MOE，在大学 或者 advanced diploma course 开学前6个礼拜申请TG bond 的 deferment

deferment 同意与否是  case-by-case basis   且   需要缴纳 bankers' guarantee （约5万新加坡元）


官方FAQ：

E3 How do I apply for deferment for further studies? What will happen to my Tuition Grant bond?


2) If you pursue further studies in local tertiary, local private or overseas institutions where you do not
have to fulfil another bond obligation with MOE:

a. You must submit a request for deferment via TGonline system at least 6 weeks before the
start of your course. Refer to the step-by-step guide to apply for deferment via the TGonline
system.

b. You must also provide a Bankers’ Guarantee from a local bank. The BG is an irrevocable
undertaking by a bank to pay a sum of money when the beneficiary (i.e. MOE) demands it. It
serves as a guarantee that you will service your bond obligations, and will only be claimed by
MOE if you do not service your bond after your deferment ends.

c. If the deferment is approved, you are required to serve the outstanding Tuition Grant bond
upon graduation from your further studies.

d. The Bankers’Guarantee will be returned to you when you report back to MOE with documents
indicating the completion of your studies, and documents showing proof of employment in a
Singapore entity (for those who enrolled from AY2016 onwards).

Failure to seek MOE’s approval for deferment before you commence your further studies is a breach of the Tuition Grant Agreement, and you may be liable to pay liquidated damages.

谢谢你的详细解答，好像听说有些同学在本地继续读本科的也没有管这个tuition grant，毕业以后也是继续工作了，因为没有离开新加坡读书，不知道这种情况如何呢？

首先，如有问题 请联系官方TG email ：[email protected]

第二 如果是本地自治大学 NTU NUS SMU SUSS(只限PR) SUTD SIT 继续深造 MOE 会在 TG-POLY 以外再提供 TG-AU。签了这个毕业之后可以和TGPOLY一起算bond 的期限 但是需要两个担保人来新加坡面签 不可以邮寄回国签字 公正

如果再本地私立 海外院校 或者本地AU 但是没签TG-AU 都需要 交向MOE申请deferment 之后交纳bankers'guarantee

第三 私下问的MOE的官员。 他们起算breach of TGA 是系统自动处理，大概毕业12个月后如果没有提交本地工作资料 就算违约

我个人猜你指的的那个可能是如果是短期那种一年 top-up degree 在kaplan ,MDIS的

还是有很小可能的可操作空间 .

但是如果继续深造 还是要在新学校入学前6星期要做，因为如果入学了 直接就算违约来的。更何况换私立的Student pass 也是要走ICA。

孩子是PR,  课程是一年的，这种情况应该不用申请deferment吧？一年以后就可以做工了。另外如果现在申请deferment可能需要支付违约金，因为已经开学了，你知道违约金大概多少吗？谢谢

我建议赶快联系 MOE/TGIS 的人。 这个他们PR和外国人一样处理 因为是签了合约 挺麻烦的。白纸黑字 。

尽快处理吧。  我没法代答这些具体流程

最终就是看你们申诉的技巧了。case by Case basis.

之后那个一年是按领到最终考试成绩起算的12个月

他们有些违约金和bankers guarantee一样的。 5万新加坡元。

在申请TGIS时 您孩子去的那个tg 网站上面也有电子版您签过的原始合约。 看看相关条款吧。他们卡的比较严。
