Is it alright to increase the stove fire intensity when dumplings are added into the pot of boiling water?
From my observation, once the water starts to boil again, reduce the flame and add a glass of water into it and subsequent half glass should be sufficient to ensure that the dumplings are well cooked.
Heavy agitation of water from boiling may cause the dumpling fringe to open up because the ingredients inside it have expanded when cooked. |
