operations is responsible for producing the goods or providing the services offered by the organization. Operations management is responsible for managing that core. Hence, operations management is the management of systems or processes that create goods and/or provide services.
operation management is concerned with managing the resources that directly produce the organization's service of product. The resources will usually consist of people, materials, technology and information but may go wider than this. These resources are brought together by a series of processes so taht they are utilized to deliver the primary service or product of the organization. Thus, operations is concerned with managing inputs through transformation processes to deliver outputs.
