Job description

1. Titleof the position : CNC Machinist

2. Department : Threading cell (SLB)

3. Reportsto : Shop Manager

4. Overallresponsibility, Duties as a CNC machinist shall include but are not limited thefollowings;

1. To perform machine tool operation and operator-levelmaintenance per V&M requirement.

2. Perform machining of component parts to meet dimensionaltolerance specified on blueprints and other operational requirements

3. May be required to read blueprints, perform varying levelsof shop mathematics associated with machining operations, and performinspection procedures to verify work

4. May use a wide range of measurement devices, procedures, andmachining techniques, and program machines as required

5. Part inspection per V&M and API requirement

6. Capable of performing complex machining processes, as percustomer’s requirement.

7. Machine tool inventory control

8. Recording & filling of job per perform

9. Material movement.

10. Continuous improvement project in area of work

5. Keyareas of responsibility are to ensure quality products are produced, adhere tocustomer and in-house safety regulation, and actively participate in safety.Ensure good housekeeping.

6. Qualifications :

· Preferablewith 3 years of experiences in Oil and gas manufacturing environment

· Knowledgein Mazak CNC turning, able to setup and simple EIA programming.

· Havingexperiences in API and / or premium threading will be added advantage

· Technicaleducation (NITEC or higher) or equivalent

7. Thebudget is up to $2400.
