<P>I don't think we have to judge these by intelligence. That is too insulting![em03]</P><P>well, if your friend have graduated from secondary school from china, his/her O level result should be good already! Not to mention those who have graduated from HIGH SCHOOL!!!! Our English is not as strong because we do not have a English speaking environment. But there are good ones like those who are on scholarship. </P><P>well, as for those Singaporeans who are not so good in English, there are only two main reasons:</P><P>one, some of them are not hard-working enough;</P><P>two, some of them are from Chinese-speaking families, they are not exposed to a good environment to study English.</P><P>We should not descriminate simply because we may do better.</P><P>we are consuming parents' money to come here to study, of course we have to study harder! That is also a reason why we do better--most of us are very hardworking!!!</P><P>cheers everyone</P><P>world peace</P>
