</P><P>The problem is: I can install the application, but the whole system could be influenced and sometimes the system default setting will be corrupted by the chinese word input system. Just for example of my pevious job experience, I installed the zi guang chinese input system on the PC when I was in NCS before. As a result, the tomcat server running made the date display in Chinese instead of in English. For one report that I generated, the date is also printed as Chinese. Luckily I restored, otherwise, I might be scolded by the PM. Besides, since I am using the NT systems instead of standalone PC. So the admin has the means to detect my computer as well. I do not want to be bothered by the monthly report claiming that I have installed some chinese software application.    </P>
