renouncation of the chinese citizenship

<P>may i know what are the procedures for renouncation of the chinese citizenship?</P>
<P>How long does it take?</P>

<P>Thanks, I have called China embassy and was told to bring Passport, a photo, letter from ICA, blue IC and their photocopies.</P><P>Just wish to confirm with someone that half day is suffient for the procedure. </P><P>How about Oath taking for Singapore Citizenship, my letter from ICA states that " to call the CSC to take the Oath of Renunciation, Allegiance and Loyalty on XX date".  anyone will like to share if it is half day or whole day event?</P>

<P>第一次到大使馆应该只是领表、填表、交表及护照和相关复印件。</P><P>第二次去交费、取公证和护照。</P><P>以上跟办一般的事情没什么两样吧。</P><P>到ICA排队、交钱、办证件、宣誓、别忘了要求提早拿到护照(不然好几个月出不了新加坡)</P>
