申请PR的可以直接打电话去移民局询问，申请LPR可以去移民局询问是否批准吗，还是只能问SMC

The successful applicant will have to fulfil certain conditions before he can convert his in-principle approval to full Permanent Resident status. The specific relocation condition which is applicable to the applicant is decided by the Singapore Immigration & Registration and this will be stated in the approval letter. Athena及fang，你们可以说一下你们是不是从中国大陆直接申请所谓的LPR来的？谢谢。
其实LPR在93/94年前后出现的说法也不是空穴来风。它主要是针对香港居民的。那时候政府赌香港97会乱，很多人会跑出来，突出此计划吸引香港人来，到现在在香港还有办事处。同时，造了很多房子。
结果，香港没乱，再加97金融风暴，结果新加坡的房地产到现在也没恢复。
当然政府不会说是专门针对HK的（就像婴儿花红好像是对所有人一样）。但对于大陆人来说，这不是一个可行的方法。如果是通过专才方法过来，也不要往这上面靠，时代已大不同。那个时候刚建交。
