I have to be honest. I studied British Council for a month.

I think the money I spent was well worth it because my English has improved a lot.Now I can listen to BBC and speak good English. The requisite is that you must have a strong base of English which means that you have a great vocabulary, good grammar, at least understand 50 percent of BBC news and good writings as well.Or please don't go to British Council. You will not have a big improvement. It's really hard.

Before I went there, I self-studies english at home through the computer with the Internet link.In effect I studied English in language school for only two months. The rest of the time I used the computer. It really helped a lot.I don't know whether it is useful for others. Some persone studies English for two years while she was tutored by a Scottish teacher. Finally, she still can't speak English. It's true. She isn't only an example.Pesonally, what the person above said is fairly correct and factual. You have to do a lot of work after class. Please don't be dependent on class.Every day I must listen to more than 6 hours' worth of English and try my best to speak English. At the same time you should do writings and correct them as well afterwards. Lastly, you should recite many English essays. See, learning English is tough and needs working hard. There's no such thing as a free lunch.
