<p> 一开始转换驾照似乎是件很难的事情,而在我换驾照的过程中,并没有遇到这样那样的问题,一切似乎都很顺利。整个过程大约有一个半月左右,从一开始准备,到拿到正式的驾照。</p><p> 先自我介绍一下,本人来新加坡一年多一点的时间,持EP准证(与换驾照无关), 还没有申请PR。来新之前,在国内已经持有驾照两年多的时间。近因工作需要,已将中国的驾照转换成新加坡的。刚刚到手,还热乎的!呵呵。</p><p> 下面说一说我换驾照的过程:</p><p> 前序,准备的东西: 1 中国驾照 ,正本即可 2 这边的IC (EP,work permit,...),翻译(这个到china town 那边的sub-court 可以做,费用S$30.00,一至两天可以拿到),相片2张(我的是在Bukit Batok Driving Centre一楼照的,S$6.00,四张) </p><p> 1. 报名,据我所知,新加坡有三家driving centre,Bukit Batok Driving Centre,Comfort Driving Centre & Singapore Safety Driving Centre.因为时间紧迫,急于拿到驾照,一开始我考虑选在Comfort Driving Centre考试(因为考试时间最早)。不过按照这个驾校的网站上提供的电话号码,根本就打不通。于是我在网站上留言,两天后收到回复,回复比较冷淡。后来选择了离我住的地方比较近的bukit batok driving centre, 感觉还好,不过接待的又一个小姐,态度比较恶劣,这个是它的网站<a href="http://www.bbdc.com.sg/">http://www.bbdc.com.sg/</a>。</p><p>我前后报了两次名,第一次是私人的,后来觉得没有太大的把握,改成了school member. 私人的好像只有一个报名费和考试的费用,加起来不到二十块吧,记不清了。后来报了会员,一共交了100块,其中包括注册费(ENROLMENT)S$32.10,理论学习(BTL)S$17.12EACH,练习(BTP)(S$3.21非上班时间),评估(BTES$3.21非上班时间),基础理论考试(BTT S$6.00),平时的工作时间,以上费用大概在2块多钱,具体忘记了。如果说100块没有用完,据说会以支票的形式寄回来,不过我暂时还没有收到。 由于报名了会员,所以最后拿到驾照的时间要提前了很多,大概一个月。原来是7月初报名,考试排到了8月31号。会员之后,经过上课,练习,评估(只有评估过了才可以报理论考试),最后考试,7月31号拿到一个临时驾照(一张纸,不过你已经可以开车了),8月10号收到挂号信,拿到正式驾照,进入类似于试用期的驾驶阶段,为期一年。</p><p> 2 上理论课 理论课分英文和华语,英文天天都有,华语比较少,一周一次?不太清楚。 如果你时间不是很充裕,推荐上英语,即便你不懂英语。老师很搞,课堂上很有意思,而且收益匪浅。因为我平时上班,所以只有下班和周六周日有时间,所以安排比较紧,一天上了把两个课都上了,而且顺序是颠倒的第一次上的是第二堂。不过这个随个人时间。上完课就可以参见练习了。 </p><p> 3 练习 这个以你看那本绿皮的书为前提,还是有一定的好处。也可以背题库,一共四套,做来做去,就是那些题换汤不换药。1,2,3套每套共70题,4套40题。其中有一些变化,但是变化不大。练习要从网上预订,天天都有。 (这个就是会员的最主要的好处,对于不是会员的朋友,第一次见题可能有点紧张和不适应)</p><p> 4 评估 无论什么时候,只要你有自信就可以预订评估。如果你评估没有过,你可以马上再预订,也可以回去看看书,或者再做几次练习,然后预订。过了评估,你就可以上网预定理论考试了,考试时间一般在评估过后的两个星期左右。</p><p> 5 考试 如果你参加了会员,经过练习和评估,相信考试不会是很难的事情,因为里面的题你基本是看见过的。如果你不是会员,自己想试试,那就要自己看看书了,因为有的题有一点点模棱两可,可能是翻译不好。我们公司三个女孩自己看书,然后去考试,结果只有一个过了。不过我从练习到考试,从来没有不过的纪录。主要是好好看书吧。不过的话,考试就要往后推,会员我不知道,但是非会员可能得推两个月,这样看是很划不来的。 另外提醒一下,考试通过的成绩是90%正确算通过,考试一共50题,错5道以上fail.成绩可以在旁边的一个机器上打印就可以了,不打也是没关系的。</p><p> 我的考试很顺利,可能不到十分钟吧,顺利通过。然后出来在Bukit Batok Driving Centre二楼排队,正对楼梯的地方就是traffic department 的一个办事处,把一开始说的那些东西统统掏出来,给她们看一下,(只给她们驾驶证就可以了,什么会员证,磁卡,副驾驶证不用给她们,那样反而麻烦),她们会做一个复印,然后给你一张电脑出来的官方的表格,里面有你的姓名,IC NO.,住址 (给你寄驾照的地址),让你签字,撕一半下来给你,你就可以凭这张纸驾车了。正式的驾照会在1个月之内寄到你提供的地址。我的两个礼拜就收到了。</p><p> 以上是我换驾照的全过程,至于最近提到的什么新驾照没有钢印的问题,我没有涉及到,我的还是旧版的。比较罗嗦,不过自己认为比较全面,希望对各位兄弟姐妹们有所帮助。还有问题可以给我发邮件,<a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a>
</p><p></p><p>另附官方的文件一份,可以参阅:</p><p> CONVERSION TO A SINGAPORE DRIVING LICENCE Singaporeans and Permanent Residents (PRs) holding a foreign driving licence are not normally allowed to convert their foreign licence into a Singapore driving licence unless they have stayed in the foreign country for a purpose, e.g. studies or work, for a continuous period of six months before or after obtaining the foreign driving licence. The foreign driving licence must have been issued for at least six months and valid at the time of conversion. To convert your foreign driving licence to a Singapore licence, you have to pass the Basic Driving Theory Test to familiarise yourself with Singapore’s highway code. To do the conversion, you need to apply in person at the Traffic Police Department. Bring the following documents: • Passport and identity card; • The result slip to prove that you have passed the Basic Driving Theory Test; • A valid foreign driving licence; • Transcript of studies of Singaporean/PR who had studied abroad; 14 SINGAPORE DRIVING LICENCE • Income tax documents of Singaporean/PR who had worked abroad; • A certification from the licensing authority of the date of test; • An extract of the driving licence record from the licensing authority if your licence does not have the date of first issue; and • A translation of driving licence if it is not in English. This translation has to be an official translation. • For Malaysian driving licence, an extract of driving licence from the JPJ Malaysia is required. • For PRs the entry permit has to be produced OBTAINING A SINGAPORE DRIVING LICENCE To drive a car, you need a Class 3 driving licence. To ride a motor-bike or scooter, you need a Class 2B riding licence. The minimum age is 18 years. CLASS 3 DRIVING LICENCE To apply for a Provisional Driving Licence that allows you to take driving lessons on the road, you need to pass the Basic Driving Theory Test. After you have been issued with the Provisional Driving Licence, you have to pass the Final Driving Theory Test. You can apply at any of the driving test centres for these tests as well as for the Provisional Driving Licence. You can only take driving lessons from a qualified instructor who is licensed by the Traffic Police. Alternatively, a learner driver can enroll for a course with any of the three driving centres – Bukit Batok Driving Centre, Comfort Driving Centre and Singapore Safety Driving Centre. The contact numbers are listed below. • To apply to sit for the Basic Driving Theory Test: a. Go to any of the three driving test centres with your identity card/passport. The fee is S$6 per test. b. You will be notified of the results two weeks after the date of the test. c. If you do not receive notification, you may enquire about the result at any test centre. Telephone requests for test results are not entertained. • To apply for a Provisional Driving Licence: a. You need to go to the test centre in person. b. Bring along your identity card. c. You will have to undergo an eye test. d. There is a fee of S$25. The renewal fee is the same. e. The Provisional Driving Licence is valid for six months. • Practical Driving Test a. Before you can do the Practical Driving Test, you have to pass the Final Driving Theory Test. b. You must pass the Practical Driving Test within two years of having passed the Final Driving Theory Test. c. To book a date for the Practical Driving Test, you need to go to a test centre with your Provisional Driving Licence and identity card. d. The fee for the Practical Driving Test is S$20. e. Once you pass the Practical Driving Test, you will be issued with a driving licence. The annual fee is S$20. Renewals can be done at any post office. CLASS 2B RIDING LICENCE To obtain the Class 2B Riding Licence, you have to pass the Riding Theory Test and the Practical Riding Test. You must pass the practical test within one year of passing the theory test. • Before you can do the two tests, you have to enroll as a student at one of the driving centres listed below. • The fee for the theory test is S$6. The practical test is S$20. • To apply to sit for the theory test, you have to go to a driving centre in person with your identity card/ passport. • To do the practical test, you have to go to the test centre with your identity card.
