In Singapore, Taxes are levied on income receipts only. Capital gains are not subject to income tax. The ITA current classifies income under 6 categories. They are:
1. Profits from trade, business,profession or vocation.
2. Profits from employment.
3. Dividends, interest or discounts.
4. Pension, charge or annuity.
5. Rent,royalties,premiums and any other profits arising from property.
6. Other profits of an income nature.
以上是报税的收入,还有一些是免除的收入,具体情况可找专业的金融理财理人员查询。总之As capital gains are generally not taxable in Singapore.
