觉得你的合同很怪异呀,为什么工作很多年还没有到期?不过就算合同没有到期也是可以走的,新加坡的Employment Act 不允许强行扣下员工的。一般合同上都有写明提前辞职的情况下,或者serve stated notice period,或者赔偿一定的金额。 如果你是PR 或者已经转成citizen的话,其实不用顾虑太多。
如果合同没有写明:
“Termination of Contract with NoticeThe party who intends to terminate the contract must give notice to the other party in writing.
The notice period to be given depends on what is agreed in the written contract. If there is no written contract, the notice period to be given depends on what the parties have agreed upon verbally.
If there is no such period previously agreed upon, the following shall apply:
Length of Service Notice Period
Less than 26 weeks -1 day
26 weeks to less than 2 years- 1 week
2 years to less than 5 years- 2 weeks
5 years and above- 4 weeks ”
表示你最多最多只有提前4周通知公司人事部你要辞职了不干了,然后再工作4周就可以走人。不用付公司一分钱而且他们还必须支付这4个礼拜的工作给你。如果公司不同意,可以去MOM投诉。
不过,如果你拿的是SP,WP之类的,因为准证问题,可能需要多考虑些因素。。。
