actually... I can find that out if the tuition teacher does not know. For some local parents like myself, we regret not being able to master the mother tongue. So now I wish my child can have that chance. In my opinion, language is as beautiful as a piece of fine drawing. I would be touched by a good piece of assay as much as i would by a beautiful piece of drawing. I do admit preparing for 'O' / 'A' level examinations are my priority when i look for a tuition teacher. However that is not my only priority. I hope my child can eventaully appreciate the language as well. So i believe there are oppotunities in sg for china-chinese to teach local-chinese the beauty of the language. And we all know, oppotunity is for someone who attempts .... do not let rejection from one group of parents disheartened you. Whatever you find lacking in, you can always improve along the way while you teach :)
