re-entry permit 又不一定要盖在你的中国护照上的，去申请一本新加坡他们叫“青色护照”的也行。即使你的中国护照过期了丢了，你也可以凭这本护照进出新加坡。

这个护照不要也罢,和中国护照没有多大区别.拿这本护照,去新加坡人免签证的国家,一样还是要签证的.

这只是表示你的 re-entry permit 的证据，好处是你的 re-entry permit 跟中国护照分开，当你中国护照遗失的时候，你还有东西来证明你的身份。当你的中国护照要更新的时候，你也不需要再去移民厅盖章。

更加晕S。。。那个“青色”的东东基本上是让你在进出SG的时候，ICA好在上面盖印而已。特别适合那些经常进出SG的人使用。对于有国籍的人来说，去其他国家和地区，基本上还是要看你原来的护照。那个东东叫做 Certificate Of Identity，以下转自ICA网站，自己看吧：Eligibility
Certificates of Identity (CI) are normally issued to Singapore Permanent Residents (SPRs) who are stateless to facilitate their travels abroad.The holder will require a visa whenever he or she wishes to visit or pass through other countries.

转移REP到新的护照上，ICA半个小时之内办好 (不算排队的时间)，没有费用，也不必亲自办，只需要新旧护照。
How do I transfer a valid REP/Visa?
A valid REP/Visa can be transferred from an expired travel document to a valid travel document. However, the travel document must belong to the same person and the REP/Visa can only be transferred to the same type of travel document.
What are the documents required for the transfer? 
You should produce your new and expired travel documents to the Permanent Resident Services Centre, 5th Storey, ICA Building.
Must the applicant be present at the time of submission for transfer?
The applicant need not be present at the time of submission unless required to do so by a REP/CI officer.
What is the fee charged for the transfer?
Applicants do not have to pay for the transfer.
What is the processing time for the transfer?
The processing time for the transfer is about 30 minutes.
