'Singlish' - I prefer to call it Singapore Vernacular English or SVE. From a sociolinguistic standpoint, the development of a non-standard variety of a language is a natural phenomenon of language change, and there's nothing good or bad about it as long as it can be effectively used as a tool of communication which is one of the most important functions of language, after all. For this reason I do not frown upon the use of SVE, though I do not use it myself. (I wish I could use it sometimes, though.)
