老婆担保拿到pr，属于第一代，不用当兵，40岁之前转成公民要当兵，过了40拿公民就不用当兵。

<p>我这有PR批准的时候关于服兵役的文件，一页多纸，我懒得敲出来，网上不知道能否找到。</p><p>关于所谓第一代PR不用服兵役的谣传已经深得人心了，我之前也以为是真的。</p>

Male children who are granted PR status under their parents' sponsorship are liable fo NS upon reaching 16.5 years old.</p><p></p><p>3. NS-liable PRs are expected to serve NS. Should they renounce or lose their PR status without serving or completing full-time NS, this would have an adverse impact on any application by them in the future to work or study in singapore.</p><p>4. Male ex-Singapore Citizens and ex-Singapore Permanent Residents who are granted Singapore PR status are liable to be called up for NS regardless of the type of PR status they are granted. <p>再确认一点。如果老婆是主申请人，老公因老婆的关系取得的PR可能是需要服兵役的。</p><p>上门的是PR的批准信上关于NS的说明，仔细看就明白了。所以说第一代移民都不用服兵役是谣传。</p><p>如果还不信，可以去ICA五楼看看别人拿到的EP（黄色的纸），如果女方是主申请人的男方的那张纸上有什么不同（说明，肯定是不同的）。</p>

<p><strong><em>万岁爷</em></strong>所引的<strong>第1点</strong>，是大前提。</p><p><strong>第2点</strong>，是指在<strong>PTS</strong>(即专业、技术、熟练工人，就是那些持P、Q或者S工作证的人)计划或者<strong>投资者</strong>计划下申请PR的<strong>第一代</strong>，才不用当兵。其男孩如果因父母而取得PR，原则上是要当兵的。</p><p>换言之，如果其男孩将来靠自己通过PTS或者Investor计划而取得PR，就目前的规定来说，应该是不用当兵。好像也有人是这样做的(芳版好像有在某些帖子里提过)。</p><p>如果是前公民、PR，就另当别论了。<strong><em>详情请参考</em></strong><strong><em>万岁爷所引的第3、4点。</em></strong></p><p><strong><em></em></strong></p><p><em>来这个版的人，大多数都应该属于PTS吧？</em></p>
