<p>it seem like the market is over-heated.</p><p>my advise to those new couple, take a break , look around don't jump in and buy just because u worry that the price will raise further and further. please go and ask around those old ppls as they still remember 96-97 time[property bubbles blust], they are still licking their wound.</p><p>now , they government have start to step in slowly.</p><p>news report a few day ago, 50% to 70% [a 40% increase] and on sept. the DC will sure increase.</p><p>the price&nbsp;shoot up due to en-block[80%] and good outlook of singapore[20%] IR will come in in 2009 and a lot of new project will be top this 2 year. 'citylight' will be ready by end of this year,[2 big tower, i can't remember the total unit , should be more than 350 unit], it will have ample unit for those ppls who need a roof over their head.[now geylang rental unit is crazy 3 bedroom apartment[w/o facilities]&nbsp;rented at 2500S$-3200S$] 3 bedroom with facilities going for S$3200-S$4500.</p><p>see a few more month, maybe after national day , more gov. interval may come in.</p><p>the transaction volume have become lesses.[more and more buyer are not ready to pay the price that the seller ask]</p><p>i prefer the price to go up slowly , not rocket shoot.</p><p>my 2 cent thought.[em05]</p>

I agree with you, recently I am looking for&nbsp;a HDB flat in jurong west, yesterday an agent told me that the latest valuation for BLK 65* near future MRT is becoming down,it's very unexpected,there is&nbsp; a big jump between the valuation price and the price that owner asked.(320K),&nbsp; just as you said"more and more perople won't pay the price that owner asked", all the price should be based on the valuation,not based on your mind.[em03]

I hear more and more young couple after married still stay their own parent house. wait for the new HDB launch.&nbsp;
