For some reason, I can't type in Chinese now.
I have another qustion:
  Is it right that sm2 students will enter a pre-college for A-Level course for 2 years? It has been said that the A-level result in Singapore is equel to that in England, is this true? And I got the information that if one can get 4 A in A-level exams, one can go to Oxford or Cambridge without trouble, and if one can get 3 A, one will be able to enter any universities except Cambridge and Oxford. If an sm2 student get 3A or 4A, will he have the chance to go to England or USA to enter those famous oversea universities?

<P>呵呵..没那么夸张了..新加坡一年好几百号人拿4个A呢..所以拿4个A不能保证你进剑桥,但其他名牌大学(除了美国的)都会考虑你的成绩,如果你拿三个或者以上A的话,你有资格获得CAM或者OX的面试指标,OX和CAM这样的大学是不单看你的成绩的,还有,仅仅4个A很可能连SCHOLAR都保不住,据说现在大学申请SCHOLARSHIP需要GP..B+...
<P>据说有种PHD的奖学金可以去剑桥的...成绩要求是4个A..还有MERIT AND ABOVE FOR TWO S-PAPER...当然GP最少,最少是B3了..还有两个SAT的优秀成绩...不知道还用不用面试</P>

<P>请问斑竹~在新加坡的政府学校读完O以后~如果进大学还要2年~在英国或是其他承认O的地方是不是只需要读一年？要读大学在哪里都比较好？</P><P>还有~在政府中学可以打工吗？有人说在政府中学14岁以上的外国学生可以打工 ~是真的吗？</P><P>还有，有人在考了O以后就去了剑桥！(成绩超好) 真的可以吗？</P><P>这边的前30的政府学校先在是不是只有5个是不用考O的？是哪5个？
