读报,有个二世祖,被学校老师惩罚了。他父亲是校董会的,强迫校长辞退老师。老师不忍校长为难,自己辞职了。记不记的有次老师把一个学生头发剃了,她妈妈报警的事,虽然学校发了两次警告信。

老大跟以前克明, 现在南洋GEP的好朋友 打了一个电话,互相 描述现在的学习生活。大瓜瓜 说她 进了培华的TTLT( Thinkers Today, Leaders Tomorrow )的项目。 好朋友说她在南洋作业很少, 每个人说每个人的事, 但是都不太明白。  打完电话后做那静静的看书, 情绪不是很高。 这就是成长的过程, 长大,和朋友分开, 不同的生活。 拍拍她, 安慰一下, 妈妈也有和小学的朋友, 中学的朋友, 大学的朋友, 不停的分开和遇到新的朋友。 开学忙坏了。 除了周三没有事, 所有的下午被CCA, leadership training, 学校安排的数学和科学的培训所瓜分。 英语超难, 有些单词我们一起查, 也就是过年才可以休息一天。

三年后再和好朋友相聚在同一所中学。

我和她的好朋友的妈妈也这样说。那个gep小姑娘性格很好。两个人的生日只差三天,从小一第一天就成了好朋友,两年半每天都一起吃饭。小二的时候培华给位置的时候,大瓜瓜就没去,第二次再给位置时,好朋友的妈妈告诉我她女儿回去掉了眼泪。希望两个人可以去同一个学校。

CA1 考完了,可以过快乐日子了。华文阅读理解扣了半分,写太多了。应该不是班上垫底的。下来该准备几个竞赛了。
这次大瓜英文考试CA1盏时摆脱了短腿的命运。和老师的付出有相当关系。丢分都在于阅读理解,包括将对的答案改错。我还总结了所有小四在卡苏上有疑问值得做一遍的英文题。有空贴上来。

In British English, "staff" can be singular or plural, depending on the context.
IMHO, In this case, since the subject was referred to as "they" in the same sentence, plural verb should be used

"Unless" is conditional and it makes the most sense here given the present tense of the sentence.

They refused to work although/even though the company met their terms and conditions.
The sentence would be have to be in the past tense.

They will refuse to work unless the company meets their terms and conditions
