6  Aug 2006   it's 23PM  now,it's sack time ! But , i can't  go to bed!   Today ,I had played bedminton for 2 hours in the afternoon from 3pm  until 5 pm ,then went home immediately ,because  there was a party  in my home, I  invited  a few study mother to my home !    one of them is from the Beijing ,one of them is from Shangdong, others  are from jiangsu who are my townees!   Frist ,we introduced ourself,because we weren't know each other before!then,we drank tea,and sweet soup that were cooked  by myself for ten hours!   I'm pleased that I met some friends,we chould communicate about feeling of  singapore, shared in experience,and went  shares trouble,I think ,we can help each other!   after meeting,I write these words,,,,,,,,,

7  Aug  2006Today, peter taught  us how to use modals. So we worked together to try to use modals,Peter gave us some  question :1, What can you do?  2, What do you have to do? 3, what things do you want , but you can’t have? 4,What things can’t  you do but you have  done?The first and second questions  are  normal, so everyone’s answers were  easy and familiar, but the third  set  of answers were different !My answer is that I want to go some place, where I  could  live  alone , but  I can’t!After school ,I always  think  about this question: why  do I want to live alone? I  got   married  twenty years ago ,since  I got married , my life doesn’t have more freedom , on one side  family ,children,and a  husband were fill my  life, On another  side I had to mind my job , so my life absolutely  changed !In my  early  married  life ,my  job was a  docter  while  I was  busy  but  wasn’t rich ,until  my  son  was three , I  wanted  to change something , I  left the hospital due to that I aspired a comfortable  life , and searched  after some  special business to do , from them , I was  busier  than before .By and by, I owned an institute  about  bio—chemistry, before long, I owed  a  medical  company,   though  I was  hard working  but fortunately  I was successful, after six  years   owned a second  company! when  I  thought  about   myself , I  asked   myself  what  would I  like ? what kind of  life do I want? I’m sure, I’m  rich ,but I  never had  a  comfortable  life , for near ten  years  I always  busy ,and  traveled  a lot  in  the world for my business, but  I never enjoyed  weekends \holidays \ vacations  to  relax ! I couldn’t  walk  slowly  for  to  saw  some beautiful views ,even I  forgot  that I  had  a  son ! until  my son was  16, my  friend  took  my son  to  Singapore ,and  helped  me  to  look after  him, but she told  me  that   my   son  lacked  love, especially  from his  mother!    I felt  so sad , better later than never ,it’s the reason  why  I  became  a  study mother ,   I didn’t  like domestic  work , but  I didn’t  have a choice  because I am a mother, I  hope  to give my  love  to my  son ,it’s my duty !  In fact ,my thinking  is  that    freedom  is more  important  than  wealth!  When I  was a litter  girl , I was  a  tomboy , but  now  I    look  “elegant”,Sometime I am introverted , I  think  that  wasn’t  me ,only  it  was   my  appearance!  I  hope , I  can  live some  place where nobody  knows  me , when  I  feel  happy , I  laugh , when  I fell sad ,I  cry,,,,,,,,,,,,

I am moved by your story.Can't agree more that wealth is not the only thing we are looking for.But believe the wealth you made benifts the people around you, you gave more opportunities to the others! This is another meaning why we live! I believe your son thinks you are the best mum of him.I will try to answer Peter's questions as well.
