1  Aug  2006I just  put my  homework  here!Question:  Tell  us  about  a  special  time  in  your  life.Answer:  When  I  was  23  years  old ,I graduated from  medical  university  and  became  a  doctor an  internist for  the  heart  and  circulation  system..  I  always wore a   white  uniform and  took  a  stethoscope  that I used  to  examine  patients’  hearts  and  lungs. I  always  worked  hard  and  wanted  to be  a famous doctor. This was my goal!   I  worked  in  the  public  hospital  which  is  in  the  city  center. There  were so  many  patients  and  they came to the  hospital  every day, most  of  them  came  from the  countryside, so  every  doctor  was  very  busy, I  was  too!   I  remember  there  was  a  very  cold  winter  and  it  was  my  first  month  in  the  hospital  while  I  worked  in  the  hospital emergency  department. one  day, I did  night  working  I  would  start  working  at  12  midnight  until  the next  morning  at 8. That night  I  had  seen  so  many  patients until 3  or  4 o’clock in the next  morning,  but  still  there were  some  patients  who came  from time  to time. I  felt  so  tired  and  wanted  to  go  sleep  soon!The time of  daybreak  was  so  quiet!  Suddenly  I  heard a noise,  that  sound  was  from  the  tractor. Just at  the  moment , I  saw  a young  man  and  his  wife  who  carried  a  baby, they  rushed  into the  room. The young man  shouted  to  me “help  my  baby!  help  my  baby”. I  checked  the  baby  immediately. I found  the baby who’s  face was  blue, his  heart  had  stopped  beating, his breath  had  also  stopped，his  eye  pupils  were diffused! in  fact,  the baby  had  died  a long time  before  they  arrived at the  hospital!I  asked  young  man  what  happened,  he  told  me  that  he slept with  his  wife  and baby  at  the same bed  yesterday  evening, his  wife  laid next  to  him, the  baby  laid  next  to  his  mother ,young  man  and  his  wife  were  so  tired  when  they  went  to bed, because  they  had  worked the whole  day  in  their  farm,  so  they  slept  on  both  ears  soon! when  his  wife  woke up  at  midnight  she  found  her  baby  who was  dying between  her and  her  husband. She  couldn’t  call  the  baby  to  wake  up! so  they  drove the  tractor  and  carried  their  baby  to  the  hospital  immediately!<p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0cm 8.9pt 0pt 7.05pt; TEXT-INDENT: 14.5pt; mso-char-indent-count: 1.21; mso-para-margin-right: .85gd; mso-para-margin-top: 0cm; mso-para-margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-para-margin-left: .67gd;">My diagnoses was  that the baby  had  died  of  asphyxiation! When I  told the young  man  that  his  baby  had  died,  he  and  his  wife  cried. they  kneeled down  together  and begged me  to  help  their  baby  but  I  didn’t  know   what  I  could  do  for  the  baby. I felt  throes  in  my  heart  and  I was  so  sad! I  wanted  to cry , but  I couldn’t,  because  I was a doctor!  There  were  other  patients who  needed  me  to  take  care of them! I  controlled  my  tears and  swallowed  hard!When  I  was  off  duty   at  home  I  cried  the  whole  day!Question: what  did  you  think about  this  thing ?Answer:  For  every  person ,when  you  want  to get  married  and  have a baby, you  have  to  know  what  is  important  and  have  to learn  how to  look  after your  baby,  How to become  a  good  farther  or  mother!

I didn't know you were a doctor!night shift  n  夜班every  doctor  was  very  busy, I  was  too! ---> so was I !

I  was  a docter for 8 years!  now ,I am a bio-chymistry  engineer about gene-engineering!  hehe,,,,,,also  I  am a housewife!

边缘学科叫法好像有点惨，应该是交叉学科。不光不边缘，而且很热门，因为作交叉学科最容易出成绩，英文cross subject？ 谁指正一下？

This is  new  knowledge----mix  genetics,medicine, bio-chemistry,biology,physiology,pharmaceutics etc,,,  现在中文叫边缘学科,涉及众多领域,简单的说也叫万金油!!!!!!!!

说回日记,我还是觉得same problem,太长了.别人问你一个问题,你可以平铺直述(其实我自己就是),但最好还是先总结, 让人一听就明白你要说的是什么时候什么事情.再说详细的故事,顺便说背景.再总结,就是你回答的第二个问题.所以,第一段,1-2个句子,第二段,5-9个句子.第三段,2个句子.短而突出有好处,就是比较容易抓住听众,对你自己而言,要追求每个句子尽量不要有语法错误,语法有错误,我们还是能看懂,但是就对你的语文程度打了折扣;当你能把语法错误减少了,再尽量用更好的词汇,这样漂亮的文章就出来了.看的人也方便给你建议.长也有好处,就是能更多的把你会的词堆砌出来.但是也暴露了你有点懒,没有动脑筋.比如你的日记,提到了husband and wife,可以用couple的,一个词就表达了你的三个.希望你不要生气.
