Thank you very much for the reply. That's truely helpful for me. Actually, there is nothing to buy over from my sister. As when we bought this HDB, I basically was the only one putting down the downpayment, paying off other fees and monthly installments till now. She just borrowed her name to let me buy the unit before she left Singapore, so that I could save the rental and have an place of my own to stay, no need to wait till 35 years old. <br/><br/>1) In this case, any other legal process involved if we both agree to add my hubbie as occupier in future? Do we need to hire a lawyer to process this or HDB will automatically send us a letter, asking us to come down to office and settle the documents?<br/><br/>Just to confirm my understanding, according to your reply earlier on:<br/>2) In any case my sister loses her PR, I just need to add my husband as occupier (if not as the owner), to retain the HDB unit, right?<br/>3) In order to enjoy the future HDB-related benefits, can we only use my husband's name to buy a private condo (meaning in this case, under my name, only 1 HDB unit, no Condo; while under my husband's name, only 1 condo, no HDB to his ownership)? 1. just need to go to yr branch office and tell them u have get married and would like to add occupier, they will do for u, as for delete yr sister's name also go to branch office but if she use cpf to services the hse, u need to repay her back , and the BO will arrange for u (they will do every thing perharp u have to re-arrange for loan and pay legal fee and stamp duty etc , it may take up to 3 month to complete the whole process)

<p>请问楼主:我和我老婆都是PR,看中了JURONG WEST的一套4房组屋,估价是255K,加cash8000。我叫DBS的banker帮我评估了下,他建议我们付10%的首期,分35年还,利息是4%,每个月大概还1120。那么35年下来一共要还470K,我觉得太夸张了,不知道4%的利息是怎么样计算得到470K的?请楼主帮我解答</p><p>楼主有什么好的银行可以介绍吗?谢谢!</p>
